chapter four. part one.

Draft day. Tyler was racing around like somebody was going to die. I crawled out of bed and placed my hands on his shoulders.
"Chill" I laughed. He shrugged my hands off his shoulders and went on into the bathroom. I grabbed my clothes from my duffel bag and began to get dressed. I put on my a light brown v-neck, halter dress with a white high waisted belt. I sat in front of the mirror on top of the dresser to flat iron my hair, while Tyler made his way out of the bathroom.
"I'm sorry" He said, as I turned around and he gave me a quick kiss.
"Every thing's going to be fine" With that i strapped on my black open toe heals and we headed down to the Staples Center. We took our seats, one row away from Taylor Hall. As Gary Bettman made his way on to the stage Tyler grabbed on to my hand and squeezed with everything he had.
"The Edmonton Oilers proudly select, from the Windsor Spitfires, Taylor Hall" I felt Tyler release from my hand and begin to clap. He knew it was about who went first, it was about getting the chance to play in the NHL. Next was the Boston Bruins pick.
"We'd like to thank the L.A Kings for letting us use their arena today. We also proudly select, from the Plymouth Whalers, Tyler Seguin." We all jumped up, Tyler hugged his mom, then his dad. He made his way over to me. He cupped my face with this hands and kissed me.
"Looks like we're going to Boston" He smiled. I just smiled back and continued to watch him hug both of his sisters, then make his way on to the stage. We all sat back down, and I thought to myself that this was something new to look forward and I couldn't be more happy then getting to watch hockey all the time, let alone go to 'another' great photography school and be with Tyler all the time.

There ain't no party like a bean town party, cause a bean town party don't stop.

chapter three.

Los Angeles, California. The NHL Draft was a big part of the summer, let alone a big part of the NHL and a junior players NHL dream. Tyler was up against Taylor Hall, another star player from Windsor and they both had a chance for going first. One or the other would either go to Boston or Edmonton. I finished packing and ran downstairs to greet Tyler. I jumped into his arms and held on with everything he had.
"You ready?" I said excitedly.
"More scared, excited, nervous.. I could go on, please stop me" I grabbed his face and planted a kiss against his lips. He set me down then grabbed my bags and loaded them into his truck.
"I'm so excited." I gasped, giving him another hug.
"You're just excited to go to L.A"
"....Well, YEAH!" We both started to laugh, then we got into the truck and sped off to the airport. I was more then excited, about going to L.A and about finding out where I'd spend my day's at school, at the rink with Tyler but most of all, just my days with him.
The flight was long, I fell asleep on Tyler's shoulder but he stayed awake the whole time. Nerves. Once the plane finally landed, Tyler woke me up and we got a cab to the hotel. We met his family down in the lobby the next day for breakfast, his Mom, Dad and two sisters Candace and Cassidy. After breakfast, we went back up to our room and got dressed, better then what we were for Tyler's combine. He put on his suit, while I threw on some jeans shorts, my zebra print bikini top, a black tank and flips flops. I clearly was going to the beach with his sisters.
"Maybe you can show me how strong you are after the combine tonight?" I joked.
"I like the way you think"
"I like the way you think I'm serious" I laughed.
"Wait, you're not serious?" All I did was place a kiss on his pink lips then wink to him before I sped of with his sisters, I caught a smile on his face though you could never miss it.
As we lay our towels down on the beach, all I could think about was Tyler. In the combine. Lifting weights.
"Steph... STEPH!" I finally snapped out of the daze by Candace's screeching voice.
"Uh yeah!" I said focusing my attention to her.
"Cassidy and I made these, just little bracelets, you've just been so good to Tyler. He really needed someone to bring him back to life."
"Aw, oh my god, girls these are beautiful" I said slipping on a hand made henna bracelet that said 'sisters'. "But really, your brother is the best. And honestly, he couldn't have a a better family" Two hours flew by and I could feel my skin start to burn. We rolled up our towels and made our way back to the hotel. I didn't expect Tyler to be back yet so I went up to the hotel room by myself. I opened the door to find the place lit with candles, rose pedals everywhere and a note laying on the bed.
Stopped by on my break from the combine, hope it's not to much. There's a gift for you under the bed. I want tonight to be special, it's before the draft and before we move. I know you're scared and I know this is just a hotel room, but we can make it our own. See you in an hour, Love Ty.
With that I placed the note down on the end table. I reached under the bed, it was a little bag with a box in it. I wasn't sure if I wanted to open it, but I did anyways. Brought to my eyes, was a silver necklace that led it's way to a small pendant that said 'Forever'. I could feel tears grow to my eyes as the door swung open.
"Tyler, what is all this!" I said giving him a kiss.
He handed me a bouquet of roses, pink ones, which were my favourite. "Like I said, I want tonight to be special. I really do love you Steph and you meant he world to me. I know you're giving up New York to be with me and that means so much" Before he could finish I was swept up in his arms, kissing him all over. He placed me down on the bed, I felt his body press tight against mine. Soon every piece of clothing was on the floor.

chapter two.

The night flew by. Prom was more then I expected, I thought it would just be some stupid dance but instead it was... unexplainable. Tyler made it even more special, he stuck by my side and told me he loved me. By the end of the night, he expressed it too. It was the first time I had shared my true love with anyone and it couldn't have been with a better person.
The morning came along, and I woke up with Tyler's arm place over top of me. His skin was warm and I rolled over and became more close to him.
"Morning babe" He said. I could feel his hand move up and down my bare back.
"Sleep well?" I asked.
"Perfect" With that answer I gave him a kiss on the the forehead then threw on his dress shirt, grabbed my clothes from my duffel bag and hopped into the shower. I showered quick then did my usual routine.
"You could've kept that on and we could repeat last night" Tyler smirked as I handed back his shirt.
"You and your ideas" I laughed.
"Gotta admit, there pretty good eh?" He said spinning me around. Now I was face to face with him.
"I will give you some kudo's on them" I laughed. He placed his lips with mine then threw me on to the bed. We continued to kiss until I was gasping for air.
"You're a sneaky one" I smiled sliding out from underneath him.
"I have my ways" He winked. With that we grabbed our bags and made our way out to his truck. He drove me home but instead of just dropping me off he followed me inside. To my surprise my whole family was standing in the living room, underneath a banner that say 'Goodbye Steph!'.
"What's going on?" I asked my mom.
"Well, when Tyler gets drafted, you're moving with him"
"Since when?" I said turning to Ty.
"Since I want to be with you. I want you to go to school, and you still can in any city that I get drafted to."
"Ty--"
"Steph, at least think about it?" He said stroking my cheek.
"Fine" I said hesitantly. With that Tyler followed me up to my room as I started to put stuff away.
"Tyler, I don't know about this. I mean what if we don't work out? What if this is a big mistake? What if you're in the NHL, you'll have girls crawling for you. You won't want to be tied done with a -" He finally cut me off. His lips pressed with mine. His fingers running through my hair. I cupped his face with my hands and pressed harder against his lips.
"I want you to be with me. Forever. I want us. Forever. Steph, we've been through everything what else could possibly happen? Your not like other girls, I could never find someone as beautiful or unique as you are. Next week in the draft... it will tell us where we are going with our lives."
"Okay."
"Really?"
"Yes, I'll go to where ever you.. we may end up. I love you Tyler, but don't think I'm not scared."
"I love you to, and I know, it's scary but we have each other. Nothing can change that."

chapter one.

I stood in front of the mirror in my room. My dress was a perfect dark purple in form of a ball gown. It was strapless with a few rhinestones on it. I touched up my hair with some hairspray and fixed my make up. My mom called from downstairs meaning only one thing, Tyler was here. Tyler Seguin was my boyfriend, we had been together for two years and I couldn't be more happy. Except I couldn't get the fact that he would be leaving to play in the NHL this year, he would be in a different city and I would be stuck in New York for photography school. I walked downstairs and greeted Tyler with the biggest smile on his face.
"Wow, you look beautiful. Not that you don't ever look beautiful, it's just--" He was mumbling again, I cut him off with a kiss. He gripped my face with his hand and returned it.
"You clean up well" I smiled adjusting his tie. He slipped on my corsage and I pined the matching flower to his suit. My mom forced us upon pictures before we climbed into the hummer limousine and headed to pick up Ally, Gina, Gabby and Christina with their dates. After we get them we head to the Hilton Hotel where prom is being held. Tyler helped me out of the limo and we walked into the lobby. I stopped before heading into the room where everyone was dancing.
"What's the matter babe?" He asked, placing his hand on my back. I looked around for a minute and saw my friends happily with their boyfriends. I mean I was happy but Tyler would be leaving soon, then what was I suppose to do?
"Can we go upstairs for a minute?" I asked. He grabbed my hand and we took the elevator to our room in the hotel. We took a seat on the bed. The room looked out of the town, it was actually really pretty.
"Is this about-" He started.
"Yes. Ty, I don't want you to leave!"
"Steph, come with me then! You know it wouldn't be a problem, we can get our own place and-"
"Tyler. We can't, I'm going to New York and we are just out of high school. What if you're not making enough, this could be bad. It can be really far away. I don't wanna loose you" Before I could go on anymore Tyler grasp the side of my cheeks and pulled my lips to his. He held on with everything he had before he finally pulled back.
"You're never, ever going to loose me. I love you" My whole body froze. He said it, he said he loved me. I was speechless for a few minutes but I finally got control of my body back.
"I love you too" I smiled. With that he brought me to another kiss and we made our way back down to the ball room. Maybe this wouldn't be so bad after all.
